I would like to express my sincere thanks to BGR for donating a place on the monthly business growth seminars which I have found invaluable in supporting the growth of corporate fundraising in the Midlands. Moving from retail into the corporate world the 2hour seminars have enabled me to focus on building a toolkit of skills, with topics interlinked I have built a strong base on which I can plan/grow the future of fundraising.
The inspiring speakers have motivated me to move from a fire fighting situation, which was emotionally and physically draining, to devising and implementing a long term strategic plan for the future of fundraising in the Midlands. BGR takes me away from my work setting, giving me time each month to think about my goals and the actions and behaviours I need to put into practice to achieve those goals. I just thought I’d drop you a line to say how much myself and Graham enjoyed the “Making Your Business Really Fly” seminar. We didn’t really know what to expect other than to trust your judgement that it would be beneficial to us.
However I must say (even though we did not agree with every aspect) it was one of the most powerful business seminars we have ever seen. Any small to medium sized owner run business can only benefit from the concepts which were discussed by a very diverse range of business owners and presented in such a powerful way.
The over – riding message of the dangers in “failing to implement” is obviously very relevant in today’s competive business environment where key focus is an essential part of maintaining momentum in the total business strategy.
In summary I would say that any business owner who attends this seminar, in whatever line of business they are in will undoubtedly benefit and self satisfied that it is time well spent.
